TrackaPhone is proud to be a member of The Employers Initiative on domestic abuse. The statistics for domestic abuse in the UK are truly shocking.

In England and Wales on average, seven women a month are killed by a current or former partner and one in four women and one in six men will experience domestic abuse. At the request of The Employers’ Initiative on Domestic Abuse, Business In The Community and Public Health England has created a toolkit for employers. This toolkit consolidates the best evidence, employer practice and is aligned with freely available resources.

Domestic abuse can affect an employee’s performance with increased absences, deterioration of performance and isolation. It can also occur in the workplace, it doesn’t always happen at home. At Prime Ministers Question time, Employers Initiative was highlighted by Gillian Keegan MP for Chichester and the Prime Minister welcomed the efforts of the Employers Initiative.
